Meet Jesus

 

The greatest thing you can do in life is to get to know the one who created you. Jesus came to earth, died for our sins, and rose again, to set us free from sin. In accepting Jesus and believing in the work He did on the cross, He gives us power to live in this life and eternal life in heaven. We all need a savior, the Bible says, "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"(Romans 3:23). Jesus is the only one who sets us free from our life of sin and gives us joy unexplainable. If you haven't confessed your belief in Jesus as your savior, we encourage you to pray this prayer and "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).

 

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you boldly in the name of Jesus and by virtue of His shed blood. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead for a new life and a fresh start. I thank you for your mercy and grace and for forgiving my sins. I give up all my rebellion and all my sin and I submit myself to You as my Savior and Lord. By your grace effectually at work in my will and desires, I forgive all who have harmed me or wronged me. I renounce all evil and resist the devil and submit to God. Lord Jesus, I believe that on the cross you took upon yourself every addiction and sin that could ever come upon me and I now declare that I am favored by God's grace. I declare I have a desire for God and His righteousness. AMEN.
